Assam Flood Relief Appeal

A Humble Appeal from Sayanant Development Foundation (SDF)

Donate Now

The recent floods in Sivasagar, Charaideo, and Jorhat have devastated homes, crops, livestock and livelihoods. Families are struggling without shelter, food, clean water, medicines and other basic necessities.

For many, this is not only a natural disaster — it is a loss of security, dignity and hope.

The Immediate Crisis

SDF has witnessed the suffering of affected communities firsthand. Mothers are worried about feeding their children, elderly people are struggling without medicines, and farmers are looking at fields that once sustained their families, now buried under floodwaters.

In this difficult moment, we cannot remain silent spectators.

Our Response

SDF is launching this crowdfunding campaign to deliver urgent relief and long-term support across Sivasagar, Charaideo and Jorhat, ensuring assistance reaches those who need it most.

Our work will continue after the floodwaters recede through livelihood restoration, agricultural recovery, livestock support and help for small businesses.

Immediate Relief Priorities

  • Food and dry ration kits
  • Clean drinking water and sanitation
  • Medicines and healthcare assistance
  • Clothing and household essentials
  • Temporary shelter and emergency support

Please donate generously and share this appeal with your friends, family and networks. Together, we can bring relief today and restore hope for tomorrow.

With hope and gratitude, Team Sayanant Development Foundation (SDF)
